The Odd Fox Within
A fox lingers in the brush of the forest, silently waiting to capture unsuspecting prey: crouching, unnoticed. Inventively waiting for the perfect moment to pounce. A photographer stands, bending ever so slightly to assist the perfect angle. Capturing the first kiss of a marriage, or the sunlight on a subjects face just so. The photographer and the cunning fox have many similar attributes; characteristics that define both the unique patience and precision they both share. I’m Gabby Wallace and one day I wondered what would happen if these common attributes of drive, achievement, patience, creativity and precision merged into one business model. In that moment, Odd Fox was born.
Some of the most prideful aspects of my business can be found within the company name, Odd Fox Photography. It provides a deep representation of the overall experience you will have as my client, both in the sense of creativity and initiative. Metaphorically, the name speaks to my style and character as a photographer. Your personal photo sessions will be conducted in a professional, but fun, joyful and careful manner. Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, I have the playful personality of a fox as I stealthily jump around the action making every effort to get the perfect shot. Photography has always been a creative outlet for me and I immensely enjoy the time I get to spend behind the camera; crouching, waiting for the perfect moment to capture your special moments.
